 I have used Knoppix several times to recover files from a corrupted Windows disk.

Once you boot Knoppix, you should already be on the network or internet.  Files can be copied from HDA1 to a local share, file website, or what have you.

I've also resized disk partitions on Windows using Knoppix. Very easy and well done.

If it repairs a competitor's operating system so well, why not just use this one instead?
