How to create a new wiki page for a program
Method 1
The ACF program information pages show links to "notes". The "notes" link is a link to the app's wiki page. If a wiki page doesn't exist when you click a link that page will open in edit mode. This is not as convenient as it sounds. . . You MUST go to the wiki and log in BEFORE you start editing that page. If you are not logged in you'll be caught in an endless loop - unable to save your changes.
Method 2
The programs shown on the ACF program info pages have ID numbers. You can create an app's "notes" page in the wiki by adding the app's ID number to a base URL. You can find an app's ID number on the ACF Program Index page - it's the part of its URL that comes after the # sign:
Here's an example:
http://www.pricelesswarehome.org/acf/P_ProgramIndex.php
Program: IrfanView
Author: (Irfan Skiljan)
IrfanView's ACF info pages link is: http://www.pricelesswarehome.org/acf/P_GRAPHICS.php#0391-PW
IrfanView's "notes" link is: http://acfwiki.pbwiki.com/index.php?wiki=0391-PW
Adding Information
Identify the program and link it to the ACF Program Information pages. Show the name of the app, the name of the author and the app's link. (This information can be copied and pasted from the ACF Program Index page.)
Add whatever information you wish to include. Update the wiki page when you finish editing it. Go the the Admin page if you want to save a copy of the wiki. http://acfwiki.pbwiki.com/admin.php
